Leah Day's Success Story

Hi! My name is Leah Day and I'm a Consultant for L'Bri Pure n' Natural. From the time I was in high school, I knew I wanted to own my own business, but I struggled with figuring out what to sell and how to get my business off the ground.

I went to college, but got so intimidated by an economics class that I dropped out of the business program and instead worked on a Biology degree. After two years of working in the wrong direction, I realized my ultimate mistake: I had let fear stand in the way of what I really wanted to do.

So instead of continuing down a dead end path, I dropped out of college and began to pursue my dreams. The path to owning my own business hasn't always been easy or smooth, but I've stuck with it and never given up.

The best break was learning about L'Bri Pure n' Natural from my Father-in-law, Chet Day. He had been selling skin care products online since 2001 and was ready to expand the business further. I took over his customer service work and for two years learned everything about skin care, L'Bri, and even cosmetics, which I had never used before.

Finally in October 2007, I realized it was time for me to start my own L'Bri business and be totally in control of my customers and sales. I especially wanted to make our service more personal so that customers would have access to as much help as they needed.

I really love the way direct sales works. The main company takes care of the products, distribution, sales, and technical aspects while I just focus on selling products and making money. I work directly out of my home, so I've never had to go in debt for the huge costs of owning a storefront business.

Unlike most L'Bri Consultants, I sell products exclusively online. I have created an online training center called The DayLine to teach people, in an easy step-by-step format, how to create successful Internet businesses of their own.

As a L'Bri consultant, I'm able to work at home with my son, James. We have learned to balance work and family time so that I can get work done while James has fun time. Having a job that works for me rather than against me is so valuable. I'm able to have the lifestyle I've always wanted while making money and having total control over my business.

Selling L'Bri products is also really fun and rewarding. I love helping people with their skin on a personal level. Some customers have been dealing with dry skin, acne, or aging issues for years. It's a great feeling when they email me and say "My skin problem is gone!" These products do work and I've personally seen amazing results from using them since summer 2006.

What I like most about working for this company is that my hard work gets appreciated. Once I worked very, very hard for a company that didn't appreciate me. I was working my fingers to the bone and not getting the slightest acknowledgment! I quit that job, started working for L'Bri, and was amazed by the difference. Not only did I receive free products and gifts, but also a cash bonus of $300 for my hard work in the first three months of my consultantship.

This pat on the back really fired me up and inspired me to work harder and sell more products. Even beyond those first three months, L'Bri continues to inspire me to work hard by creating promotions I can definitely earn. It's a great feeling to imagine going on the Caribbean Cruise and know that it's within my power to reach that goal. I've learned that I can set goals and if I work hard for them, I will always succeed.

I'm a college dropout, but my lack of education has never been a hindrance to my L'Bri business. Limitations like education are really only as big as you allow them to be. If you want to learn something, you can read books and educate yourself on your own time - often quicker than it takes to get a degree. A piece of paper certainly isn't going to limit my potential, so why let it limit yours?
