The first step is to find people willing to hold the party for you. These women would be your first hostesses, potential customers and recruits.

First you need to speak with your hostess honestly about what she hopes to gain from the party. How many products does she want to buy? How many friends can she invite? The more you coach her on speaking with her friends and drumming up excitement, the more successful her party is going to be.

The next step is sending out invitations. Make sure to instruct your hostess to fill out her guest list first thing and to mail it to you as soon as possible. The more people she invites, the more likely her show will be a success.

Remember that you need to have at least 4 guests and $300 in sales in order for a party to count as a party for certain promotions L'Bri is running. Check out the promotions now and see which ones require parties and how many you should book each month.

Once you have the guest list in hand, send out the invitations immediately. Make sure to also keep up with your hostess and keep her excitement going. Keep in touch so you know how many guests have RSVPed and how many need an extra phone call to see where they stand.

On the day of the party, make sure to arrive 30-45 minutes early and help your hostess do any last minute preparations. Make sure to have a folder on every seat with flyers, an order form, product catalog, and other goodies tucked inside.

At the party, it's your job as the Consultant to:

  • Entertain - No one wants to attend a boring event, so it's good to keep the party moving with games, fun competitions, and chances to win free gifts!

  • Inform - Did you know that most women do terrible damage to their skin without even knowing it? Teaching guests how to take care of their skin properly is an excellent way to keep the party interesting and help attendants learn the benefits of good skin care and your products.

  • Inspire - Always remember that half of your job is to sell products and half is to recruit. Inspire guests to view themselves in your shoes so they'll be excited to book new parties or even join L'Bri!

The great thing is, you will receive excellent training materials when you join L'Bri Pure n' Natural. Not only will you learn loads about skin care, but you'll also see visual demonstrations of a quick, fun presentation.

All L'Bri products are sampled on the backs of your guests hands. This way they don't have to mess up their makeup and can still get a good idea of which products they like. This also means that your parties will be very fast because there's less fuss and bother.

After the demonstration time, let the guests have 10 - 20 minutes to talk, enjoy food, and mingle. Women love to chat and the more time you give them, the more relaxed and entertaining the atmosphere will be. While everyone is enjoying themselves, you can straighten up your products and put away any items you will no longer need.

Call everyone back to order and have them return to their seats one last time. Make sure to remind them about the benefits of hostessing a party for themselves or joining L'Bri as a Consultant.

Draw their attention to the order form and pass out pens. Tell them that you'd love to answer any questions they have about the products and you'd be happy to advise them on the skin care products that would work best for them.

Sometimes new Consultants get worried when they don't know the answer to a question. Don't fret! If you don't know an answer, simply reply "That's a great question that I actually don't know myself. Let me take down your email address and I'll check with my mentor and get back with you on that tomorrow."

No one will judge you for not knowing anything, especially if you're just starting out. Just stay calm and professional and your party will be a success!

Once you have all order forms in hand, your job is done! Let your hostess know that you'll be in touch tomorrow with how many products she's earned from this party and leave her with a product catalog so she can start selecting the products she's like to buy.

Make sure to thank her for holding the party and also mention how much money you think you've make from this evening. Let her know that she could easily make this money as a L'Bri Consultant herself.
