What's With the Water?

After you apply L'Bri moisturizers you should
always add a little water over your face.

Why?

This is what keeps your skin hydrated! Just like you drink water during the day, your skin needs to drink in water too.

L'Bri products don't contain water. We refuse to water down our formulations to create a cheaper, ineffective product. The result is very concentrated products. I'm serious when I say that most products will last you for months. You only need a small amount because a little goes a long way!

L'Bri's moisturizers are super concentrated as well. The Aloe Jelly, Oil Free, and Gentle Moisturizers can all hold 5 times their weight in water to the skin. The Intensive Moisturizer can hold 10 times its weight!

Holding water to the skin is great - but if there is no water present - how can these moisturizers be effective?

This is why you MUST add water to your face after you apply L'Bri moisturizers!

Just run your fingers under the tap and apply that water over your face. Your moisturizer will soak up that water, pulling it deep into the skin, keeping you hydrated all day long.

Some people get very confused when I tell them this tip. It's amazing that we've all been so deluded into thinking that oil is what keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized. Mineral Oil is the number one ingredient in most moisturizers, but how can this possibly moisturize the skin? Do you take a big gulp of mineral oil after a workout? That wouldn't keep you hydrated - it would make you sick!
