I've used quilting stencils to mark designs in many projects you'll find on my website and blog. I used the following stencils in the workshop Quilting a King on Your Home Machine. Click on the images below to find these stencils at QuiltingCreations.com:

In 2015, I also created two special feather design stencils and border stencils for the Craftsy class The Free Motion Quilting Effect. I used these stencils specifically to mark and quilt the Super Power quilt.

What was most surprising about quilting the three versions of the Star Power Quilt for that class is the version that was marked almost completely with these quilting stencils was the easiest and fastest to quilt!

Quilting Stencils Rain DropsOne of my favorite things to do is to mix marked quilting with free hand quilting. The marked stencil designs get the quilting process started quickly and easily. One project that this combined perfectly was the Spring Rain quilt pattern published in Quiltmaker Magazine in 2015.

This design used the Rain Drops Stencil on the right to mark the designs within each rectangle of fabric, then extra lines were quilted around and between the tear drops until the entire quilt was quilted with beautiful flowing lines.

As you can see, there are so many creative ways you can use quilting stencils to mark beautiful designs on your quilts! Not only will quilting stencils make quilting your quilts easier, it will also make the process faster as well.
