1. How much time will it take to set up my online business?

Well, this depends entirely upon you. Let me give you two examples:

Sue gets access to The DayLine, devours all of the information and immediately starts working on her blog. She completes all of the core pages within a week and starts building more and more content every day. By the end of a month, she's already gotten some emails from potential customers and she's ready to join the company officially and really start driving traffic to her site.
Jane gets access to The DayLine and reads a few articles. She starts a blog, but only gets 10 pages done before she gets frustrated and stops working on it. Jane occasionally returns to her site and posts here and there, but very irregularly. By the end of 6 months she may have enough traffic to warrant joining L'Bri officially, but her sales will always be low because she's never truly focused on her business and given it the attention it needs.

The length of time it takes for you to set up your business depends on you. The DayLine will train you to use the Internet effectively, but it can't do the work for you. Consistent effort and work is the key to succeeding online.

From my experience, if you get started and work consistently on your blog for 3 hours a day, you should have enough traffic to join L'Bri and start making money within 1 - 2 months. This is a building principle, so the harder you work, the greater your efforts will pay off.

2. How many hours will I need to work on it every day?

With Internet marketing, there really is no time limit.

This means that even if you have only 1 hour a day, you can still work online.

However, building your business one hour at a time will take a very long time to get established. At that rate it may take you a full year just to get the basic pages of your site up and running.

The more time and effort you can put into it, the more your work will pay off. If you can sit aside 3-5 hours of concentrated computer time each day, you should be able to build your business within 2-3 months.

Once you have the core pieces of your business in place, you will still need to work a consistent 1-3 hours a day to maintain your website, follow up with customers, and answer email questions effectively. I can easily spend 2 hours answering email before I even touch my website in the morning.

A business is a business, even if it's online. Unlike most traditional businesses, your efforts online build on themselves continually. The things you do today have the potential to pull in traffic and potential customers for you for as long as they are online. The toughest part is getting started, getting your foundation laid, and that's the part I'll help you with the most.

3. Does The DayLine teach website design?

When most people think about starting an online business they instantly think about creating a website and how complicated it must be. You might even now be looking at my website thinking "how does she get the sidebar to look like that?" or "how did she get the questions to link to these answers?"

The fact of the matter is setting up your online site is just a tiny piece of the Internet marketing puzzle.

You need to attract customers, build trust, and market the products to people that need them. Many people believe that setting up a website with pretty pictures and "buy now" links is enough, but it's not. No one will come to your site if they can't find you. It's my job to teach you how to get customers to find you as easily and cheaply as you can.

So instead of wasting a lot of time detailing complicated HTML or CSS editing, I prefer to train people to use Blogs.

Blog is another name for Web Log, a system that allows you to post information into a prepared template. This information is then uploaded for free onto the Blogger system server for all the world to view and read.

Adding content to a blog can be done in less than 2 clicks of a mouse, unlike a website where you have to design the page, apply templates, spell check, add tags, and then upload in order to add information to your site.

Blogs are essentially websites, but much easier, cheaper (hey, they're free!), and faster to set up. Blogs have many benefits over traditional websites that make them the easiest and most cost effective means of starting a new business.

The training information found on The DayLine is designed with a blog in mind, but you could also apply the information to a traditional website if that's what you would prefer to create.

My job is not to teach you the fundamentals of website design. My job is to teach you how to get customers to come to your site, read your information, and buy products, all without costing you too much money out of pocket.

4. Do I need to understand how the Internet works?

Not really. Do you understand the exact fundamentals of how grass grows or seeds germinate? Probably not, but that doesn't stop you from mowing your yard or eating tomatoes from your garden.

The Internet is a pretty complicated place, but the basic fundamentals can be broken down into three pieces:

Traffic - Traffic is the most essential part of your website. It’s the number of people that find your website and pay it a visit. If your website was a storefront, your traffic would be the number of customers that visited that day, that year, or even that second.

Unlike a storefront, most people don’t feel it any need to stop and browse. The last time I checked, 80% of the people that find my site spend between one and two seconds on my site.

This is the true nature of the Internet. People are distracted, busy, not listening, not reading, and don’t really care. You’ve got to be interesting, exciting, controversial or just plain loud enough to distract people long enough to spend time on your website.

The largest portion of The DayLine talks about traffic: how you generate it, how you control it, and if nothing else, how you can make money on it even when people aren’t buying products.

Follow-up - If traffic where the base of a pyramid, good follow-up would be the middle section. Keeping in touch with your customer base at regular intervals is absolutely essential for your success. You can do this easily without annoying your customer and automate it so it takes up none of your time.

Most beauty Consultants live on the telephone. This is an extreme waste of time when we live in a world that has email. Customers actually prefer being emailed because they can choose when to read it and when to respond. Learning how to use email effectively is the first step in proper follow-up and is essential to good customer service.

If you follow the methods on The DayLine, I’ll teach you not only how to email effectively, but how to automate your whole system so that it works, even when you’re taking the day off.

Sales - Of course, the whole purpose of working online is to make sales. If you are generating traffic, eventually someone will spend enough time on your site to become interested. Once they’re interested, they might even buy something.

Sales are the outcome of traffic and the result of good follow-up. Without traffic, no one will find your site and no one will buy anything. Without good follow-up, you may get some sales, but your customers won’t be truly satisfied because they haven’t gotten the help they needed. A lifelong customer is lost very easily because of bad customer service.

5. What exactly does The DayLine teach me to do?

The DayLine will teach you how to:

  • Set up you your blog and get online.

  • Establish your business foundation.

  • Market L'Bri products in the easiest and cheapest way.

  • Drive targeted traffic to your website that wants to buy products.

  • Help customers personally with their skin care issues.

  • Understand the skin and the most common skin issues you will have to deal with.

  • Follow up with customers easily and effortlessly.

  • Write effective emails that customers want to receive.

  • Establish long term relationships with customers that continually reorder.

  • Recruit and build a team of other successful Consultants.

If you want to sell L'Bri Pure n' Natural skin care online, this is the very best training system to use because it will specifically teach you how to sell these products, and only these products.

Most Internet marketing guides are written very vaguely. They're designed to teach a huge range of people how to market everything from dog training guides to weight lifting equipment on the Internet.

Applying this knowledge specifically to your products can be very difficult. It requires a lot of brainstorming and trial and error before you can get the fundamentals right, and even there there is no guarantee that those methods will work for your beauty products.

I've found over the course of the last year that beauty products are different from just about every other product on the Internet. Not only is this a recession proof industry, but beauty products are purchased more than any other commodity, except food.

This means that skin care and cosmetics are purchased more that lawnmowers, cars, toys, clothing, and candles. They're also consumable, so if you keep in touch with your customers, you should be able to count on continual reorders year after year.

No other marketing guide on the Internet takes these facts into account.

6. What things will I need to buy other than access to The DayLine?

Starting a business is an investment, but that doesn't mean it has to be ridiculously expensive.

There are some programs, and the automatic email service that I recommend, that do cost money. I do try to make an effort to utilize as many free services on the Internet as I can so as to keep the cost down for our businesses. The decision to invest in these programs is always your choice, depending on if you feel that you need that service or not. The sum total of all the programs I recommend is $20.

The automatic email service that I use costs another $20 a month and I feel that is well worth it. This service allows you to contact customers at prearranged times with a message that looks as though it was personally written by you. This service is essential to keeping in touch with your customers, even when you're not working.

Once you have established your site, you will need to join L'Bri officially and purchase a showcase in order to begin your status as a skin care Consultant. This costs approximately $125 plus shipping and handling if you purchase the skin care showcase that I recommend.

As a Consultant, you do not have to order products, pack, or ship anything to your customers. All orders are packed and shipped by L'Bri in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.

However, I do find that it's a good idea to keep some samples on hand, as well as packing supplies, so that you can easily send samples to customers who need to try a specific product before investing in the full size bottle. This not only reassures the customer, but it also helps to limit the amount of refund or returns that you might have to deal with otherwise.

The basic samples that you should have on hand will cost an additional $50. Keep in mind that you don't have to purchase all of these things today.

Here's how I recommend getting started:

1. Join The DayLine - $45

2. Establish your site - $0

3. Build your site and make sure you have traffic - $0

4. When you're sure you're ready join the company - $170 (showcase + samples)

5. Once you have 20 customers, then start using the email service - $20 per month.

6. Only if you feel like you need it, purchase the extra programs to make your job easier. - $20

7. Continue building and get your $45 fee back when you sell $1000 in products in one month. + $45

This whole process could take anywhere from 1-3 months depending on how hard you're working. Keep in mind too that once you join the company, you will receive a 20% commission on the products you sell and a 3% bonus when you sell $1000 or more in a month.

By spreading out your expenses, your cost to joining the company doesn't have to hit you all at once. It is an investment to get started, but so long as you're putting effort into your business it will pay off.

7. I don't know anything about skin care or helping people, how will I be able to do this successfully?

This question always brings a smile to my face because of the way I got started in this business.

When I got started, I didn't know the first thing about skin care. I didn't wash my face, I didn't wear makeup, and I rarely combed my hair in the morning.

You could say that I was about the least likely person to sell skin care in the world.

But I was interested in learning about skin care, in helping women with their skin, and resolving the skin issues I had been struggling with for years.

This interest is all that it took. I learned and listened and applied my knowledge. It's not instantaneous, but if you apply yourself, you will learn all you need to know about skin care and helping customers resolve their issues.

I've even created a skin care quick reference guide to help you respond to your customer needs easily and effortlessly. If you ever have a problem or an issue you don't know how to address, I'm only an email away.

Just like your website, your knowledge about skin care is a continually building process. So long as you allow yourself to learn and not be intimidated by your lack of knowledge, you will be able to help your customers easily.

8. Do I have to sell L'Bri products in order to use The DayLine?

No, you do not have to sell L'Bri products in order to use The DayLine, but it will be easier to sell L'Bri because this system was designed for this company.

Pretty much all beauty products can be successfully sold on the Internet using my system, however you must first make sure that this is allowed within your company. Many direct sales companies are resistant to Consultants selling products online. They feel that this can cheapen their product image and lessen the control the company executives have over the marketing of their products.

Before purchasing access to The DayLine, make sure that it's okay for you to create a personal website and market your company's products by name.

If you are selling a different line of skin care products, I will be unable to grant you the refund for selling $1000 in products in one month because I have no way of proving that you've really accomplished this goal.

Please understand that purchasing access to The DayLine is done at your own risk and there are no guarantees that my information will help you sell another product line. While this information is designed to sell beauty products, it may not take into account every specific detail about your products or they way that they are sold.

9. What is involved with becoming a L'Bri Consultant?

To sign up as a L'Bri Consultant just go to www.leahday.lbri.com

Click on "Income Opportunity" and scroll down.

Step #1 is signing a contract to become an official L'Bri Consultant. Once this is complete, hit submit and then follow on with step #2.

In this step you will create a username and password that will be used to create your personal L'Bri website. Try to pick your first and last name as your username so that you can get the best name recognition for your business.

Make sure that all the information in this form is correct and hit submit. You should be ready to purchase your showcase. I personally recommend purchasing a Skin Care showcase and the additional samples that you will need as an Internet Consultant. These samples are:

10 Deep Pore Trios
10 Gentle Trios
10 Aloe Jelly Samples
10 Intense Moisturizer Samples

Which will add a total of $45.50 to your Skin Care Showcase which costs $125 for a grand total of $170.50, plus shipping and handling. This is just my personal recommendation, so please use your own judgment and purchase any other items that you feel you will need.

10. Will I get access to The DayLine if I just sign up as a Consultant with you?

No. In order to access The DayLine, you must pay the access fee of $45.00. There are no exceptions or exclusions to this rule.

If you sign up without purchasing access to The DayLine, I will assume that you want to sell products traditionally through in home shows and parties. The L'Bri training manual and teleconference calls will teach you everything you need to know about booking shows and successfully marketing the products this way.

11. How long will it take before I'm making serious money?

First I would have to ask what counts as serious money to you. For me, a serious money means $500 or more a month.

Again, it will depend entirely on how much effort you put into your business. Working on the Internet isn't like working at a retail store. This isn't a job that you get paid an hourly wage for the hours you work. Sometimes it take weeks for the work you do today to bring in traffic and pay off your efforts.

If you put 3-5 hours into your business and you focus from the first moment on both aspects of your beauty business: selling products and recruiting, then you should be making serious money in 6-12 months.

This isn't a guarantee. You might start making $500 a month in your first month or you might never reach that goal. It all depends on you.

Building a business is dependent upon your ability to believe in yourself and continually apply effort, even when you may not see immediate rewards. Frustration, apathy, and distraction are the reasons why 97% of new businesses fail within the first month.

If you stay focused and keep your desire strong, you can build a business that will make you money not just for a month, but years down the road.

If you can't take the insecurity of when this investment will pay off, I encourage you to drop this idea of owning your own business. Go get a second job and make the extra money you need for your family in a way that doesn't scare you.

But remember this: the second you stop working that job is the second that you stop making money. An Internet business is online and potentially bringing in cash 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so long as it's online. This isn't a job you can lose or be laid off from.

But it's also a business who's success or failure is entirely in your hands. Some people can't take that kind of responsibility. Maybe you can.

12. Is this a scam?

HAVE I BEEN TYPING IN BOLD TEXT???!!!!

Have I told you anything that's too good to be true?

Have I proven to you, time and time again, that this is a system that works so long as you apply effort and work hard?

Have I promised you any money or riches from buying access to The DayLine?

No! I'm not promising anything. I just want to train you to sell skin care products on the Internet. If that's what you want to learn then we're in business!

13. You already have this big website set up, is the Internet big enough for both of us?

Let's see...last month about 135,000 people searched for "natural skin care" using Google.

I average only about 4,732 visitors to my site last month.

You do the math.

There are millions of people on the Internet that are searching for natural skin care and the answers to annoying skin problems.

The simple fact is, even if I had 10 years to work on my site, I couldn't cover every single skin problem and every single question that's out there. It's just not possible!

The other aspect of this question is about competition. Can the Internet support hundreds of L'Bri consultants that all sell the same products the same way?

Yes! The Internet is bigger and more powerful than you could ever imagine. Most people actually don't realize what a huge potential the Internet has because they've never stopped to think about it. If you're online every evening, imagine how many people your age that are online at that exact same time too. It's pretty staggering when you really stop to consider it.

There are more than enough customers to go around and new ways of attracting customers being formed every day.

Right now L'Bri Pure n' Natural is not a household name. People don't recognize it like Mary Kay, Avon, or even Arbonne.

But I aim to change that in the next five years. The more information, the more people we reach and educate about L'Bri the more potential we all have to sell more products.

When you help someone personally with their skin, you're doing them a service. Most people really appreciate that kind of help and will pass on information about you to their friends. The more people that are online talking about L'Bri and spreading word about this company, the easier it will be for everyone to sell L'Bri products.

Competition is what is going to get L'Bri on the map and in the mouths of everyone in the US. It's time to get started!
