Here's just a few of the many beautiful designs included in the Reflections of Nature Embroidery Collection:
How to machine embroider designs in this collection
To embroider a single layer of fabric, first hoop a medium-weight tear-away stabilizer. Layer your project fabric on top. If the fabric is very thin, you may want to float an additional layer of stabilizer under the hoop. Stitch the design, then remove the excess stabilizer around the design.
Machine Embroidered Quilt Blocks
All of the designs in this collection were originally stitched as quilting designs on a three layer sandwich of fabric and batting. This means that all of the designs will work very quilt in this format, and best of all, you won't need to use stabilizer when embroidering this way.
Directions for Embroidering a Quilt Block - Cut a piece of 100% cotton fabric at least 1 inch larger than your hoop on all sides. Hoop this fabric so it's held tight with no slack in the middle of the hoop.
Layer a 5-inch square of batting in the center of the hoop. Top with a 5-inch square of 100% cotton fabric. If your machine has the capability, run a basting stitch around the design to hold the layers together securely. Stitch out your design completely and enjoy a perfectly quilted block every time!

Frequently Asked Questions about Machine Embroidery
Can I stitch multiple designs in one hoop?
If you have a embroidery machine with larger hoops yes, you should be able to stitch multiple designs in one hoop.
I can stitch four squares at a time on my Janome Horizon 15000 because it has such large hoops.
Can I resize the designs?
Most embroidery machines allow you to resize the designs between 10 - 20% and yes, the designs will still look good when resized within this amount.
If you wish to resize the designs much, much bigger then you'll need to use digitizing software to resize and export the design. The difference is your machine will resize the shapes, but not increase the number of stitches within the design. It will just make the stitches bigger.
Digitizing software will compensate for the increase in design size with an increased stitch count. So with digitizing software you should be able to resize to any size and still create a beautiful design.
