Patchwork Piecing Foot
Piece your quilt blocks quickly and accurately with this perfect 1/4-inch patchwork foot!
I've recently switched machines to the Eversewn Sparrow 20, but unfortunately that machine doesn't come with a patchwork foot. How in the world would I piece new quilts without an accurate foot? Yes, I can move the needle and use the regular zigzag foot on the machine, but I truly believe a 1/4 inch patchwork foot is essential for quilt piecing.
I searched for the perfect patchwork foot and - Yay! I finally found it! This is a low shank patchwork foot which means it will happily fit all low shank sewing machines, including all the Eversewn Sparrow machines.

The thing I love most about this foot is the perfect 1/4 inch it gives you to both sides. Yes, sometimes when piecing half square triangles I use the left edge of my foot and I generally prefer a narrow foot, especially for QAYG (Quilt-As-You-Go) techniques when I'm connecting quilted blocks together.
Note: On my Eversewn Sparrow 20, I find this patchwork foot tends to piece a scant 1/4-inch seam allowance. Since that's not my preference for piecing, I move my needle over to the left by 1 click. That slight adjustment puts the needle right in the middle of the foot to create a perfect 1/4-inch seam allowance to both sides.
