This Qnique Ruler Base creates a sturdy platform on any Qnique longarm so you can safely quilt with rulers! This platform supports your ruler and allows you to quilt safely using a ruler foot and any 1/4-inch thick longarm rulers.

How to Attach a Ruler Base to Your Longarm Machine

Grace Company's Qnique Ruler Base is constructed from sturdy white plastic with a metal bracket that securely attaches the base to your longarm machine.

As you can see from the video above, you can install a Qnique Ruler Base to any Qnique longarm machine in a matter of minutes. If you find the ruler base fitting too tight, loosen the screws on the bottom bracket, slide the Qnique ruler base in place, then tighten the screws and secure the bracket under the longarm machine.

The best part of this longarm quilting accessory is you don't need to disassemble your quilting frame or remove any rails.

However, you may need to change the location of your quilting frame's front rail to give you more space for the ruler base to fit. Check your quilting frame manual to review the steps to extending the front rail so the ruler base does not strike the rail and limit your quilting space.

Ruler Quilting on a Longarm - Anytime!

Having the ruler base attached, along with a ruler foot, allows you to grab a ruler and begin ruler quilting anytime. Once you attach a ruler base to your longarm machine, you won't need to remove it.
