This is a set of special groovy boards for quilting, designed to secure to most Grace Company quilting frames. Using this system, you can quilt perfect, template guided patterns using your sewing machine or longarm machine. 

What is Grace Pattern Perfect?

Do you have an 8-12 foot frame? Purchase 2-3 sets of Spiral, Popcorn Swirl, Hearts, Tulips, and Cross-Hatch to fit the length of your frame.

Will My Quilting Frame Work With These Groovy Boards?

Yes! You can use Grace Pattern Perfect on all Grace Company quilting frames. Q-Zone Hoop and Q-Zone Queen frames will need table inserts added to support Pattern Perfect. The design boards bolt through the slots on your frame's back table:

If you have a Cutie, Cutie Breeze or Mini Quilter Frame, you'll need to screw the Pattern Perfect System to your table top using the bolt holes in the plastic templates.

Will My Machine Work with Grace Pattern Perfect?

You will need rear handlebars attached to your Grace or Qnique longarm to control the machine from the back side of the frame. This accessory is compatible with all current and past Grace and Qnique longarm machines.

You can also use Pattern Perfect with a sewing machine. Attach the stylus bracket to the side of the carriage holding your machine. Double check the quilting design fits within the throat of your machine, lock in and quilt!

Similar to the popular Groovy Boards for quilting, The Grace Pattern Perfect template attaches to your quilting frame. Lock into the groove with the stylus and follow the channel to quilt perfect patterns with any machine.

What Comes in the Starter Kit?

Yes, you've got to start with the Starter Kit! This set comes with the stylus and all hardware needed to attach the bracket to any Q'nique longarm, Grace longarm, or any sewing machine riding on a Top Plate Carriage or Chariot Carriage. 

The stylus locks into a special bracket, uniquely designed to quilt multiple rows of some quilting designs by simply changing the stylus position!

Drop the stylus into the groovy board pattern, then simply guide the machine through the design. The 10 plastic pattern perfect templates connect together to create up to 120 inches of guided quilting fun.

The templates in the starter kit are double-sided and include eight patterns total: Two scallops, two peaks, two waves, and two teeth.

What comes in the additional design kits?

The Stars & Flowers Big Kit includes 10 double-sided interlocking groovy board templates. Connect the plastic templates together to create a120-inch quilting design. If you have a smaller frame, only connect the boards you need to fit your frame.

This set includes four large scale quilting designs: Loopy flower, Spiral Star, Flame Spiral, and Spiral Knots:

Individual Design Kits come with 3 boards featuring 1 - 2 quilting designs each. Connect the boards together to create a 51.75 inch design, which is perfect all hoop frames. If you have a larger 8 - 10 foot frame, you'll need to purchase 2 individual kits to fully fill your frame.

A 12 foot frame will require 3 individual kits to quilt across a king sized quilt in one pass.

Following a Groovy Board Vs Pantograph Quilting

How does quilting with Pattern Perfect compare to tracing a paper pantograph with a laser light?

These quilting methods are very similar! You will quilt from the back of the frame, using rear handlebars to control your Grace / Qnique longarm. 

The main difference is when tracing with a laser light, you still have full freedom of movement. This means if you don't stay focused, you can easily wander off the line and quilt wacky designs.

With these quilting groovy boards, you are locked into a channel with the stylus - literally forced to stay on track! Yes, you may still quilt a few wobbles as you get to know a new design.
