Cutie Quilt Frame Coil Clamp Upgrade

How do the Cutie Frame Coil Clamps Work?

The as you stitch across your quilt in rows on the frame, you need a place for the quilted section of the quilt to go. Previously on the original Cutie Frame, you would roll up the quilt and secure it using the elastic straps and metal clips onto the Cutie Frame back clamps.

Unfortunately the elastic straps and clips are time consuming and fiddly. As you quilt more and more of the quilt, you have to continually adjust the elastic straps to fit around the roll.

This new set of 3 Coil Clamps will replace your original Cutie Frame back clamps AND allow you to remove the elastic straps and clips from the back rail of your frame. 

As you quilt past the first row of your quilt, begin rolling the quilted section into the coils on the back clamps. The Coil Clamps hold your quilt roll securely, but are much faster and easier to pop the quilt in place and get back to quilting.

I have the original Cutie Quilting Frame. Will these clamps work for my frame?

Yes! You'll only need this set of Coil Clamps with the Original Cutie Frame which was retired in 2023.

I have a Q-Zone Hoop Frame. Will these clamps work for my quilting frame?

No, unfortunately these clamps are not compatible with the Q-Zone Hoop Frame.
